The Citizenship Tree is part of my character education program. This is an easy way to show off what character trait you’re promoting and I will use it to showcase students that are best embodying those qualities. So here is the breakdown of the board:

-The tree has apples that note some of the traits we will be promoting. Ex. Honesty, kindness, responsibility, etc.

-The bottom Red Sheet is where I post the current focus for a 2-week period. OUr current focus is Honesty.

-The green portion on the right of my board I placed a spot

to post the names of students that best displayed honesty.
In addition to this bulletin board I’m also producing some short
videos that will be shown during the morning announcements.
The clips are meant to focus attention on the particular trait
we are focusing on, in this case its Honesty.
